Policy Options to Promote Sustainable Fleet Managment

This document by the EU Recodrive project is aiming at policy makers at all levels that would like to strengthen sustainable fleet management in companies. The main focus of the document is on effective measures that can be implemented on different levels with the aim of reinforcing or stimulating good practices and sound decision-making within the field of fleet management. Special attention is given to rewarding and recognition schemes for energy conserving driving, vehicle procurement, and maintenance. It describes rationales for policy action, economic instruments, regulations and complementary measures like vocational training and campaigns
